#39 The Importance of the Fine Art of Purposeful Ignorance
39. In the downtown core, Ipods are no longer a luxury for portable music, but more so a necessity to politely pretend to ignore those around you. If you don't want to deal with the screaming crazies that are pretty much a package deal with urban living, you best get out those earbuds, turn up the tunes, and walk with a purpose.

#38 The Importance of Loyalty
38. After a less than enjoyable morning, i had to make an important decision regarding my hunger. The fact of the matter was that i was starved, and the most logical thing to do (since i was already running late, and had places to be...like work) was to grab the first thing i saw and get a move on. There was no option in being picky, just this once, i couldn't afford to spoil myself. So I grabbed my latte from Second Cup instead of Starbucks, because there were no S-bucks that i was aware of on my way. The important thing to note here, is that loyalty is a two-way street... and that God must have seen an opportunity to teach me a lesson on allegiance. So feeling guiltier than ever, Second Cup in hand, a very flustered me stumbled out of Union Station in a direction i'd never come across before. And that's where it happened. Caught chai-latte handed. It was as if the gates to heaven had just opened up to me, and i was standing there with an "i love Satan" t-shirt on. I stood there for a moment, feeling sorry for myself, suddenly recgonizing the less than mediocore taste of drink in my mouth. It was disappointment at its finest. The lesson had been learned. Loyality is infact a two-way street. Starbucks would never let me down the way i did her. I can only hope that she'll remember, that brown and gold package in my hands, will only ever be the "second cup". And by that i really mean, my second choice.

#37 The Importance of Proper Social Networking
37. I've been told, a great place to meet boys, is at the gym. I've been a member at my club since November and have had no such luck. My boss so nicely pointed out that i'm working out at the wrong gym, and am better suited at a location with a smaller gay community. She's probably right. Apparently i am looking in all the wrong places.

#36 The Importance of Living With No Expectations
36. Life should be lived without expectations. Expecting less, doesn't override ambition or passion, it just means you're less disappointed when life doesn't go according to plan. We can still strive for greatness, and with a positive attitude you will always be happy bound.

#35 The Importance of Going Out Sans Wallet
35. While contemplating whether or not to enjoy the lovely weather along Queen West, (worried about the spending that could occur) i considered going out sans wallet. This lead to a very enlightening comment from a certain Mrs. Brook
"then if you find something you want you'll have to decide weather or not its important enough to rob the store in order to get it"

#34 The Importance of Good Friends
34. There are people in your life, who you can spend more days a year apart than together, but then the minute you are reunited, it's like you never left each other's side. These people are meant to be cherished forever.

#33 The Importance of Asking
33. Sometimes, even if you're too proud, you should ask for what you want because there's always a chance that what you wanted, you could have had, and it was only a question away.

32. the LCBO only carries items with a minimum of a 6% alcohol level.
#31 The Importance of the cost of "free"
31. Everything "free" comes with a cost. So when the old Tim Horton's man says he'll give you a large Ice Cap and 6 timbits for the price of $2.50, you better be prepared to let him watch as you and your friend are asked to lean in an sip from the drink at the same time.
Was it worth it? I'm not really sure.
