19. Today i put a stale piece of bread (baguette) in the microwave to try to revive it from its hardness. I ended up burning it to a crisp, almost starting a fire, and smoking up the apartment. It has now been sitting on my counter for 30 minutes, and continues to make cracking noises... im waiting upon its explosion. I also noticed a burning "spot" on the element of the stove as i was boiling water... i tried to remove the "spot" with the plastic spoon i was using to stir. This cause the plastic to melt on the "spot" causing more burning to occur.
It was not my brightest day in the kitchen, but i managed to create a fully edible meal.
